Well it was a heck of a start for the G-men today. Game ball goes to Travis Ishikawa for belting two, yes I said two, home runs in the Giants 10-7 victory over the Indians.
It’s great to see Ishikawa playing well this early; I just hope it will last. Tim Lincecum went three scoreless innings.
He would have won the game ball but three scoreless innings is, I hate to say it, almost the norm for him. So he just gets an atta kid and a pat on the back.
Nate Schierholtz also homered in the game. It appears early the Giants have some offense. But this is spring training, so don’t get too giddy yet.
