Edgar Renteria appears to be taking his two year $18 million seriously. http://www.sfgiants.com/ reports Renteria showed up in Arizona 10 pounds lighter than last season. Hopefully this will bring him back to his old 5 time all-star self.
Noah Lowry also is making news in Arizona; he will be fighting with Jonathan Sanchez for the final spot in the rotation it appears. Rumors are around that both pitchers may be on the trading block in the near future. This should provide some serious competition in the rotation, which can’t hurt.
