It was a good opening day for the Giants. It was a gloomy, rainy day everywhere in the bay area except in San Francisco… or so it seemed. The Giants defeated the Brewers 10-6 in their first game of the season.
Travis Ishikawa had a huge day, driving in three runs. Bengie Molina and Aaron Rowand both homered in the game.
Tim Lincecum did not have a great day, as he only lasted three innings while giving up three runs. The good news from this is the bullpen looked really good. Overall it was a great day for the Giants.
