The Giants had a much needed day off yesterday. After winning two of their first three games at home, the Giants left for the road and have since lost four games in a row. And it hasn’t been pretty as their once hot bats are now ice cold.
The Giants were stymied by the Padres Pitching, and went to Los Angeles only to get blown out 11-1.
They will play their second game in LA today with Matt Cain on the mound against the savvy rookie Clayton Kershaw.
